Downloading large files over http / OPL

So I got a new PS2 with OPL on it and with some limitations it works just fine, but what is bothering me is that more than half the games I try download end up failing or getting corrupted. I tried Free Download Manager on Windows but is as bad than downloading straight from Firefox, on Linux on the other hand I always used Uget which runs curl on the backend and it just works, does Windows have a download manager based on curl? Or do you have a suggestion on a good download manager for Windows? In any case if I don't find anything I will just try to do the whole process over Linux or end up using curl on Windows

I like how you write "OPL" like I'm supposed to know what the fuarrrk that is. Where are the isos coming from? Have you tried FileZilla? Is it possible you could FTP them? Failing all that, is it possible you could encrypt the isos you want into 50 part rar files, so that when you're downloading them and they fail you don't have to start all over?

>>75681 It's a PS2 homebrew for loading games from a USB stick. The sites I'm getting the ISO's are CDRomance and WoWroms

>>75684 That was helpful, Myrient was the kind of site I was looking for but could not find thanks lainon

>>75679 If your files are consistently getting corrupted then the problem is likely not the link but the site you're getting the files from. Especially if the site uses HTTPS (you're downloading from a secure connection right?) since the probability of a HMAC not detecting data corruption is practically nil (2^-128). If you have non-ECC RAM then check that too. FWIW I get my PS2/3 games from Vimm's Lair and never had issues. I do need to use Chromium though.

>>75690 don't worry, also i totally forgot there's the rom wiki from r/roms, i know it's redditors but it's actually a very good resource and i found it today in my bookmarks because i was searching for roms too https://r-roms.github.io/
