Dedicated seedbox server in the home network

Hey folks, I download a lot of stuff from torrents like anime series, music, movies. What do you think about setting up a dedicated seedbox server in the home network with the public IP running 24/7? Is it a good idea? This server would have a large HDD storage for downloaded stuff.

>>73442 Use the Q&A thread next time. This is very basic question (and you will get an answer more easily that way). You shouldn't seed 24/7 unless you live in a country that doesn't care about torrenting. The main benefit of a seedbox is that you can torrent in another country (that doesn't care about torrenting). If you can't do that, your next best choice is to get a large HDD for your PC and you should also rate limit your upload rates because something using up a large amount of bandwidth shows up in logs more easily. Also, make your torrent client require encryption (deluge, qbittorrent and transmission can do that, and they are the best BitTorrent clients anyway).
