I went to install Ubuntu on my PC and after the installation process it told me to restart the computer, it gives me an error saying 'BootDevice not found, please install an operating system on your hard disk, Error 3F0'.
I'm assuming it's an error where the firmware can't find the OS because of some BIOS stuff. But I'm new to all of this, so can someone please help me.(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST, You should always elaborate on your opinions rather than just spilling the soykaf.)

You've installed Ubuntu on the wrong disk (maybe on the USB of the live ISO). Install again and choose wisely.

Check boot device config from UEFI firmware settings. Set Ubuntu as first boot option and save the changes (or use boot menu manually). You also need to make sure that there is EFI System Partition (ESP). ESP needs to be 550 MB FAT32 partition with partition type EF00 (I recommend that it's the first partition on the first disk). You only need 1 ESP per PC (even if you have more than 1 disk). Alternatively, you can set your PC to use legacy BIOS MBR (and nuke everything + reinstall) but modern Botnet 10 and Botnet 11 force you to use UEFI/GPT.
If you want to just nuke everything and install Linux, I recommend you boot Xubuntu LiveUSB and you use gparted to make new partition table (GPT) and then create the ESP using gparted (or cgdisk + mkfs.vfat -F 32 ...). Or use legacy BIOS + MBR partition table (not recommended if you have more than 1 OS).

switch from UEFI to Legacy BIOS or viceversa and reinstall. 99 times out of 100 its what is causing soykaf like this
