I am looking for a small and cheap laptop for network pentesting, which ones do you recommend?

For anything other than gayming, used Thinkpad.

Network pentesting is a low-cpu low-ram integrated graphics job. Just pick any used laptop that you can install a linux workstation on and maybe has an ethernet port.

Get used business laptop (they are in good condition and they are clean and usually cheap). Thinkpads are great.
