Anybody else interested in DTV? With ATSC 3.0 rolling out, what's next for ISDB-T and DVB-T? I know ISDB-S3 is already in use and transmitting 4K NHK content, but I've no idea what's going on in the terrestrial side. Will the Japanese work with the Brazilians again and roll it out in Latin America, or will they switch over to ATSC 3.0?
Personally I'm just glad to be done with ATSC 1.0, it was always always the absolute worst of the bunch. Thanks America for forcing it on us.

don't pretend to be retarded. if the internet goes out you can get stuff from satellite or radio that you couldn't get otherwise etc.
why do you people still exist.

shut the fukc up prepper f4gg0t
there wont ever be some doomsday scenario where magically everything breaks except ATSC
also by then the average nigger tech company TV wont even boot without internet
even thinking ATSC is a thing after NTSC was kill is pure dumbfuckery.

what? i'm not talking about doomsday soykaf lmao. sometimes internet goes out and you wanna watch something. i lost power for a month due to an electrical grid restructuring and with a power plant could watch tv and ac but had no internet.
same thing happened a few years ago during a big hurricane. this soykaf happens and i've experienced it first-hand, dumbass. anyway, linear TV is fun. i like archiving local productions and ads and putting them up on archive.org, or even just things you'd normally see anywhere but with bumpers/unique ad breaks.

forgot to mention, with satellite DTV you can get really nice foreign channels completely for free so long as you have a good dish.
let people enjoy the little things and quit being so soulless
