Textboards/BBS

Is Futaba Channel the only realistic option left for people who enjoy traditional, anonymous textboards? 4chan used to have a ton of them, but now it only has one. They are still popular in Japan, but they have largely disappeared in the West.

>>67829 You can try 4-ch.net and then there is world2chan. Although the world2chan is pretty dead and from what I've heard is linked to that soykafhole that is soyjak party. You can't really post on futaba chan or what's left of 2channel (2ch.sc) unless you know japanese although I've heard there are some english boards on 5channel.

4-ch, danger/u/ and heyuri's textboard are active. there's also SAoVQ, tinychan and a few other that aren't as active as the first three. >4chan used to have a ton of them, but now it only has one. huh? which one?

>>67829 gopher://khzae.net:70/ is a somewhat active bbs on the gopher protocol. You need a specials browser or extension to get it working. The one I use and recommend is Kristall.

I can't not use 4chan. every other website is just too slow. lainchan as a whole is as fast as 4chan's /e/ board is
