libredirect became boring

Libredirects new update SUCKS! they made UI gay, they removed wikipedia redirecting, they removed latency testing. it's over. developer says at least there will be less bugs. people complain about. https://github.com/libredirect/libredirect/issues

Wait there's a plugin for this? I just use Redirector plugin and setup my own redirects.

>>66965 Yeah I have been noticing problems with it for the past few weeks and it certainly seems more "gay" in the sense that it's been a lime red turd as of late.

>>66965 >they made UI gay Interesting choice of words. Is this the lainchan of 2023? Has it not stopped evolving to a 4chan alternative yet? LibRedirect really isn't something you *need*; you can get the same functionality with a user script. It's very basic functionality that has been overengineered a little anyway. Granted, you have to manage the alternative sites/hosts yourself, but that's barely any work. Also, like >>66978 said, you can just fork it. It's open source, do what you want. Take only the good upstream patches that you want and patch your fork with them.

>>66979 >you can get the same functionality with a user script There's a repository of such scripts here. Use these in conjuntcion with ViolentMonkey and you should be fine. https://codeberg.org/zortazert/GreaseMonkey-Redirect
