Is there sense in making website?

Hi, I have simple static website and I don't know whether things I write are interesting to read or useful, I would love to hear your opinion or critic.

On the website I show information I've gathered while doing stuff on computer.

I don't wanna sound harsh, but imo:
a) the english is kinda bad, idk from where are you but my advice is to read a couple of times what you write and then compare the sentences with the ones from some good tech blog
b) the content is all over the place. i know that for example the OS section is a "work in progress", but it's always better to at least make it look like a finished article even if it isn't

now, the good points are:
a) the site has a nice color theme, easy on the eyes
b) the layout is good having in consideration the kind of content the site hosts (pure text)

Thank you, I'm I try not to make grammar/structural mistakes, the operating systems category is really wide and this is why I have it work in progress, I want it to have everything that I know. How about BCHS article thogh, I think that it is complete and doesn't have that bad English.

The site is nothing really fancy but it looks good and it's lightweight so it's fine.
There's very little content on it though.
You have a guide to hosting your website via cgi, that's neat but it's just a list of commands with zero explanation of what those commands do. If it's just meant to be a note for a quick copy-paste-execute that's okay, otherwise I'd add a bit more context around those commands.
The OS article is just a stub with many English errors but more importantly it seems like you don't have a clear focus on who you're writing for: someone that doesn't know what is Linux 99% will also not know what is a kernel, or a container or what "Unix-like" means.
I understand I was a bit critical in this post, I hope I haven't discouraged you though. I really like reading these little websites, they feel "human".

The written content can be improved upon grammatically, but the website itself is good. Its easy to look at, and its (as far as I can tell) minimal. Honestly, its great that you made your own website and are putting content on it for people to read. This is good for practicing skills, and it demonstrates that you have some passion.

Let me say this: Congratulations on taking that first and hardest step which is opening a website. Although it's hard to tell what direction you're going on just a few pages. I want to say to publish content YOU would like to read and are interesting to YOU. Don't worry about us. It may seem like you're shouting at the clouds when you first start a site. But you're the driver and we the readers are along for the ride.
Anyhow, since your asking for advice. I see you like to just dive into code and just hit the ground running. Perhaps an intro paragraph explaining what's happening/why you're writing the code below would help a little.
Keep writing yo!

I actually really like your layout/style. Very tasteful level of styling, adds readability without being overengineered.
I'd change the color of the links on the bottom though. Blue on black is disgusting.
What I like to do for links is to keep them the same color as the main text, but enclose them in {} using CSS before and after properties. But ymmv.

Dw, you'll improve every time you post an article :)
> How about BCHS article thogh, I think that it is complete and doesn't have that bad English
i would say, it need an introduction, so that someone that doesn't know those terms can understand the purpose of the article

OP, just what I needed. Add some anime gurl on home page.
The Phantom Phreak · 2022-11-21 05:22
I've changed the look and content of the website, what do you think now?

It's gud, needs more content though. Your style is excellent, no added bloat. As for the grammar part you could use extensions like grammarly to proofread your writing before posting on the site.
