Hello, here's a one time advertisement for a new search engine.
http://101.176.95.67
Do not expect me to advertise this a second time, write down the website address if you want to find it again.
The search engine is free to use but additionally you may purchase complete search results in .txt documents.
There is additional features planned for this search engine.
You may use this search engine currently to explore a very weird internet.

why do you hate DNS?
but cool project anyway
maybe next it would be fun to try and come up with an algorithm to sort results based on relativity to the search, rather than just by address
BloodCat · 2022-07-28 11:15
>>62170
so like you could maybe do this by counting the amount of times the keywords come up and weighing it by things like whether they are surrounded by <h1> tags or something
or you could take googles approach and rank results based on links from other sites

Pretty cool anon, makes me want to try my hand at building a search engine, since there are no good search engines. No source?
Found through keyword "anime": http://sasara.moe/

i wish i could make my own search engine too but last time i mass scanned the ipv4 space my ISP called me and told me to stop

do link it, at least for archival purposes.

>lesbian imageboard,
Found it too in the morning. I would leave it be though. Something about it feels like it should be hidden. It's not forgotten since the author keeps it up. But you can't post on it. To me it feels like a site that should just let be. It's mostly just dumb fun on there too. Feels very innocent.

Only three results come up if you search lesbian, you're not quite hiding it by not linking it.

My website doesn't appear to be in the search engine. It redirects to the named version when people access it directly by IP address.

nice one, wish i had spare money to donate
also
>IPv6 Scanning
is this even possible to do? unless you have some sort of base of used/possibly used addresses it seems impossible to do in reasonable time (500y if you scan 1 million per sec).

All IPs/websites appear to be located in Australia which is likely why your site isn't on there.

but OP claimed to have searched all the IPv4 address space
why would he lie to us like that

Could be two things:
1. Timeout time was set to 31msping the first pass.
2. Could be cloud flare preventing connection.
If it could be something else I am unsure.

I'm definitely going to fix the problems that I find so everybody's site can be found in obscure non advertising ways, just I might have run into problems that are difficult to detect, and require resources to fix.
>>62191
You're right, 31msping timeout.

I think I've got multiple methods that can do it efficiently, but after I increase computing power.
>>62172
I reckon you should do it. The more search systems which are completely unique, the better.
The biggest problems I ran into which you can avoid are these:
1. Microsoft Windows having a limit on files which can be stored in 1 directory. If you try to store too many files in 1 directory this will crash your system and make it practically unrecoverable, untestable.
2. Deleting failed files, default delete which comes from windows is not good enough to delete excessive quantities of files.
3. Not backing stuff up in an external place. I lost all my work multiple times.
4. Not being able to find people who would be willing to try this with me, take a risk, and fail multiple times.
5. Not having anything financial backing me, if you can bank a few tens of thousands of dollars beforehand that would be much better. No person with financial power wants to finance or provide feedback for anything different. That includes government, corporations and people.

You could download free GeoIP data from maxmind
https://dev.maxmind.com/geoip/geolite2-free-geolocation-data (files are in csv and their own format, both containing the same)
it contains plenty of registered networks (both 4 and 6) divided into categories such as ASN, country and cities (?), it should lower the amount of processing data you need.
To login you can just use bugmenot.com (just remember to remove spaces from suffix)

buy a domain idiot
>tfw poor users can get reserved IPv4 addresses but can't buy domains
