To be honest, I think it's worth mirroring I2P, TOR and, if possible, Yggdrasil. Among the lovers of anonymity, there are lovers of this imageboard.

yes, we should definitely keep personal copies of such software around. but why just mirror them on an HTTP server that's unlikely to be discovered? seeding their BitTorrents will help others now (isn't mutually-exclusive with providing an HTTP mirror), and scales far better than mirroring since it's essentially trustless. On the topic of Yggdrasil specifically, though, I am somewhat disturbed at (a) baking cryptography into the routing algorithm, and (b) baking a known-not-post-quantum-safe asymm identity system in. We definitely need something for setting up a shoestring internet from site-to-site links once the backbones are taken offline, however, so I hope that all the projects working on this experience much success. Even Yggdrasil will certainly be a valuable experiment, if people use it.

An I2P mirror would be nice, and a Tor one wouldn't be bad, but I think they're more likely to start blocking Tor again like they did a few months ago.

Do you mean mirroring the code repositories for those projects, mirroring the content hosted on their darknets, or making a lainchan mirror available over them? >TOR For future reference, Tor is spelled Tor, not TOR.

>>55688 Source for the Tor vs TOR claim: >Note: even though it originally came from an acronym, Tor is not spelled "TOR". Only the first letter is capitalized. In fact, we can usually spot people who haven't read any of our website (and have instead learned everything they know about Tor from news articles) by the fact that they spell it wrong. https://support.torproject.org/about/why-is-it-called-tor/
