Post cool cyberpunk gadgets, like picrel (Pwnagotchi)

Foldable drones that fit easily in a backpack is pretty cool. It may not be that cyberpunk-like, but I feel like it qualifies lol. You can quickly get one in the air, look at your surroundings (and things youre not supposed to see), and pack it up again in like 2 minutes, while staying hidden. Pretty cool

where can i find a cyberpunk gadget that can detect arbitrary network signals, i want to test if my toaster is part of the botnet (not even joking)

nmap? i guess if you want to look outside your local network, you need to measure emf somehow

Ohhh drones are nice! Is there anything decent for <200?

Buy a $20 rtl-sdr and use software like gqrx to spot anomalous radio activity.

>Pwnagotchi is an A2C-based “AI” powered by bettercap that learns from its surrounding WiFi environment in order to maximize the crackable WPA key material it captures. This material is collected on disk as PCAP files
Capturing handshakes is trivial, the hard part is brute forcing them within a reasonable time and without spending a fortune on electricity. As such you only need handshakes from networks that are likely to have weak passwords. A tool that tries to collect as many handshakes as possible with unspecified """"AI"""" is a utterly useless larp.

You may have some valid points, but it's just a fun, pretty cheap project for me. And something to use my Pi0W for!
>>55287
imo drones are pretty cyberpunk, altough I think the DJI's are pretty strict with no-fly zones?

I dont have much experience with quads and uavs, only a parrot ar drone2 i had five or six years ago. Im planning on building a small quad using ardupilot tho, should be fun.

DJI is ultrabotnet. apple-tier in terms of reparability and freedom, plus telemetry piped straight to ccp. Stay away, theres better alternatives

>It's a garbage toy for larpers who have never actually broken into any real wifi networks
Seems to me more like a cute fun art project.

I think portable SDRs fit into the cyberpunk gadget-category. Especially hackrf one with the portapack addon
Meny pentesting tools might fit in nicely as well, rfid cloners/emulators, rubber ducky, keyloggers, signal jammers (probably illegal where you are tho),

Wifi deauthers are pretty cool, either in making devices disconnect to capture handshakes or just messing with someone.

because you don't even understand what its for
It is to passively collect data in your daily life you can go back over on your actual machine. It isn't even a tool by itself. It is a toy quiet literally that passively collects, what you do with the pcap files is you.
you sound like a skid yourself buddy

Ardupilot looks really nice, keep us posted about your project if you ever start it.
There seem to be some decent builds possible for ~$150, but all the drone nerds exclude the batteries and transcievers so i'll have to do some digging myself. Atleast there are cheap options!

Does it record coordinates to find those captured networks later? It's quite useless otherwise.

It doesn't have a GPS.
Why did mods delete >>55310 and not the post that prompted it >>55304?

Something like the Tello seems like a pretty decent option. Around 100 EUR, It's not FPV, but that also means it's easy to get started with.
There are 3rd party remote apps available so that means you don't HAVE to use the cyberhumped DJI apps.
Dujour · 2022-01-11 16:46
Casio's Databank watches have always kinda looked cyberpunkish. Stuck in the past and futuristic at the same time.
Shogun · 2022-01-11 18:25
>>55363 Then, as deleted post said, it is indeed a LARP. You can do actual war-walking with Android device recording coordinates of every place you sniffed an access point.

god i remember using these lil watches to cheat on math tests in elementary school lmao

I never got into those as I can't see myself being able to press those small buttons quicker than whipping out my phone (that I am probably already using) or just using my computer ("). That and their huge popularity (me being a contrarian).
I can get behind Casino's TV remote watches, such as picrel[0]. You can program any IR signal into the buttons.
https://www.casio.com/products/archive/watches/databank/cmd40b-1t
Unfortunately they are hard to come by and sold extremely marked up.
I also enjoy the AE-1200 line, which can store 5 time zones to cycle through easily, and displays the current time zone on the map. Great for folks with internet friends etc. picrel[1]

have you seen this thing, sensor watch? it replaces the internal hardware with a low power arm chip giving it lots of features while it still looks the same and uses microamps of power. pretty cool

They could have added NFC antenna on flex PCB for interfacing with external computer. A watch that claims to have sensor capabilities is quite useless without easy readout interfaces. I've seen people putting Mirafe tags and 8K chips inside:
https://n-o-d-e.net/datarunner.html
There's also enough space for MicroSD inside standard F91W. Cut along red marking.
>Battery Life1 Year (estimated)
Ha-ha, let's see how it works out in real world scenario.

Looks like I need to get into F91W modding, this is cool as soykaf.
Node's does look more impressive to be honest.
I need to stop being a bitch and get into soldering. I only ever tinker at the breadboard level. I have never found a practical use for electronics (unlike programming), but this watch modding soykaf looks real neat.

How about it?
Sadly, I have only pi3b+ which is collecting fuarrrking dust now.
I know it supports not only pi zero, but I'm little bit worried about it's usability.
Anyone tried pwnagotchi here?
