Does anyone know of a printer (preferably laser rather than ink jet) that doesn't dox you with microdots on every page you print? Any resources or pointers in the right direction for this issue would be much appreciated. I know this is a pretty entry level amount of research but it is my starting point: https://www.eff.org/pages/list-printers-which-do-or-do-not-display-tracking-dots I don't care about color printing, but being able to print grey scale images would be preferable. If image support is where drivers start getting luminescent, would getting an old TTY terminal and cobbling together some OCR (for pdf support), free drivers, and working with LaTeX fit the bill best?

I believe that table is the only up-to-date source you'd realistically find, unless EFF have become super evil and stopped accepting additions for some reason.
