I am currently working on NLP, and GPT-3 is not so good if you would read the paper. Yes, in some parts of NLP it is better than other models, but in most cases it is worse. The really new thing about this model is the size compared to the others, so it is not an innovation.
Other models on huggingface.co are much better and smaller. The only reason why the GPT-3 model is so overhyped is the user-friendliness. Any idiot who has no idea about machine learning can use it via the API they provide.
