So I cracked the screen on my android device, but decided to keep using it since it still worked.
normal people do it all the time right? But my fingers get really sore when I use it, and I am not sure why, the obvious answer is glass fragments, however I find none and have cleaned the screen extensily just to make sure no errant fragmentation remained
But still the pain persists
So I applied a screen protector, a glass/plastic hybrid one, and the pain still persists. It is too severe (if left untreated) to be a palcebo, I have tried endlessly to convince myself that it is just in my head but I really dont think it is
I asked around, and normal people told me they felt it too and it goes away after time, so it must be something right?
what is it??

I do feel somewhat bad wasting a thread on this dead place, since there is so much other quality discussion that the space would be better used for.
However, on 4chan I am simply called a glitterboy and told to kill myself by AI posters

I doubt it's something physical like glass shards but you could easily be straining your smaller hand and finger muscles having to adjust, and just being neurotic about it? Broken screens are *harder* to use. More so with another barrier on top, like a protector.

Hey, thanks for replying.
I just put the screen protector on about 30 minutes ago, it has not caused me to make any adjustments that I am aware of, I make no effort to bypass the cracked/fractured parts so I had been using it in much of the same way aside from being more careful with it.
Why are they harder to use? the sensitivity seems okay. Most of the cracked parts are where the camera is rather than the user interface
It might be some way I have failed to notice. I never thought it was the screen at first, I only started drawing the connection a few days after breaking the device and using it some more.

I have applied a second screen protector to the device and it seems to have helped.
What a good brand.

Why not just replace the screen?
