I've just recently finished installing Mac OS on a desktop that I built for my wife.
Desktops are usually better for Hackintoshes because you can customize their hardware more, and even with how easy the latest Mojave is to install on a Hackintosh, getting all of your peripherals (sound, wireless, etc.) to work might be a challenge.
Go to tonymacx86, look up that specific model, and if others have had success, it's worth a shot. If *completely* compatible by dumb luck, it could just take a couple of hours and be a piece of cake.
On the other hand, if your specific laptop has some wireless card that Mac OS doesn't like (which is very likely), you won't have wireless. Then you'll spend hours getting another card to hopefully work, after having bought a new one... A week passes, and you've spent countless hours messing with it.
In my case, for her desktop, it was the second hand; I spent two weeks waiting for a new wireless card and graphics card to ship, since mine weren't supported by Mac OS (I had an NVidia card, which Mojave has issues with, and some random old wireless card).

Well, try and research if it's worth the risk. Because some soykaf may not work. When i tried to make my pc a hackintosh; my gpu and wifi card were incompatible.
If you need, i can explain the installation process.

Fyi you can use an usb wifi dongle if your wireless card isn't compatible.

Try doing it and report back here how you much you fared.
If my memory serves me, laptops are much harder to install osx to because of the amount of components that have to be right for the operating system to work properly.

If you have a couple bucks on hand, you're better off buying either a) old apple hardware or b) a known-good hackintosh. Laptops are notoriously difficult to hackintosh and you end up with something that doesn't work in some sort of annoying way - like, the touchpad doesn't work, or it won't sleep properly.

Research research research
It took me a long time to get my hackintosh running successfully because I didn't research beforehand. Instead, I waited until Darwin panicked before I did any research.
Though, once I got everything working it was a satisfying experience, and I'm still using it to this day.

I installed macOS on my desktop a few months back, pior to mojave. It worked incredibly well. Everything but a few apple sevices like itunes movies and messaging worked. It was fairly easy too, but I was on newer hardware, I know if your pc is kinda old it can be challenging

No, wrong direction... use win 7 and CS6... job done... mac is just painful... I make exceptions for the old RISC macs - Which will run CS4 but not later!
Basically its not worth the work to get a hackintosh to FULLY run.
I VM a hackintosh but never use it - n.b. i'm a full-time Adobe user... I wont use CC... I hope FOSS gets good enough by the time CS6 is unusable - currently I have no issue with other companies and users with CS6.

Attitude like this is what gives fans of free software a bad name, it's why a lot of people who could be using free software completely ignore it. Are you even aware of how ignorant you are? The software you mentioned is a nice, free baseline but it's not replacement for adobe suite, especially if you're an experienced user. Do you expect people who spend hundreds or thousands of hours developing their workflow in Ps to switch to inferior software just because it's free and they can run it on Linux? Get real.

I highly recommend Krita in place of Photoshop. As for other adobe products, I don´t have any suggestions as of now.
