Hey Lains, I'm looking for some good open-source TTS software that doesn't suck. I plan on using it mainly for the purpose of reading TXT/PDF/DjVU documents and webpages aloud, just for the sake of convenience whenever i don't feel like reading it myself. Any recommendations of anything coming close to what Ivona is capable of would be greatly appreciated. Also bonus points if it features Polish soundbanks (English is a must of course)

>>4890 >>4953 Why don't you list those you tried and why you think they don't fit your use case?

Vocaloid might work with a bit of tweaking

I use NVDA when i am forced to use windows, and orca on linux. They atre both screenreaders and they should work fine.
