Is it possible to configure compton so that only gnome-terminal becomes transparent? it should be transparent both when the window is active and inactive.

Oh and I forgot to say that I use i3wm.

The solution was, opacity-rule is case sensitive, so I needed to use Gnome-terminal instead of gnome-terminal
