I bought a laptop a while back and was scammed, I didn't end up getting my money back, the seller lied about the stats of the PC even though the the seller had good ratings.
It has a AMD Dual-Core Processor E2-1800 and an SSD but that doesn't help the fact its still slow as soykaf and can't even boot into any distro that isn't based in XFCE or something lighter like that.
It cant run any games, has issues running youtube videos as well, what can do I do with this PC? I tried to sell it again but it also has a broken touch pad its super lame and annoying.

Maybe you can disable the monitor and use it as a server of some sort.
Also have you checked if it is thermal throttling?
Also on GNU+Linux there are always problems with hardware acceleration within web browsers, have you tried to see if performance are any better with VLC to watch youtube?

You can use a minimal distro without GUI or with a light window manager like dwm.
Or, you can use it as a server for whatever the fuarrrk you want.

you can always use it as a file server/ web hosting, it doesn't take alot of processing power.

Install FreeDOS and enter the world of x86 demoscene by coding 3D demos in assembly language
=OR=
Try running 9Front on it.

Pretty much this, us it as an oldschool terminal and make some fun games on it.
