Lainchan shared logins
Lord Nikon · 2021-10-20 03:03
I propose a convention on credentials to share among Lains, in this thread.
For the following sites I used:
- username: Lain-chan - password: dontseemtounderstand This is not the perfect pair because Lain's name could be taken already, and password requirements may vary in any retarded way. Rutracker asks passords be no longer than 20 characters, others might need you to use numbers.
Rutracker: using site search
- https://rutracker.org/forum/login.php : no-JS login page
- https://rutracker.net/forum/login.php
- https://rutracker.nl/forum/login.php
- http://rutrackerripnext.onion/forum/login.php
- http://torrentsru5dbmqszbdinnz7cjiubxsjngq52qij6ih3fmp3gn7hwqqd.onion/forum/login.php
E-Hentai forums: for Exhentai SadPanda :-)
- https://forums.e-hentai.org/index.php?act=Login&CODE=00
Internet Archive: age-restricted content and DRM books
- https://archive.org/account/login
If you know any sites that allow Tor access, but require login to read, let me know, and I'll try to create accounts there. Anyone in this thread is encouraged to help (spend those sweet cockli invites with maximum effect).
For those wondering, I am not the first person to invent this. Some of you might know BugMeNot website. It hosts publicly accessible login-password credentials for various sites you don't want to make an account for. Example of how it works:
- http://bugmenot.com/view/example.com And even they are not the first to invent this. It all started with cypherpunks mailing list in the 90's, they used
- cypherpunks:cypherpunks to anonymously login into FTP and mail servers
So far, many old school sites like Tor bug tracker allow anonymous contribution through cypherpunks account.
Some other combinations for those curious:
cypherpunks01:cypherpunks01
cypherpunks01:Cypherpunks01
cypherpunks01:cypherpunks01cypherpunks01
cypherpunks01:Cyp-her-pun-ks0-1
cypherpunks01:C_/Ph3rp@nks01
cypherpunks0(n):cypherpunks0(n)
cypherpunk:cypherpunk
cpunks:cpunks
qwerty:qwerty
cypherpunks:contribute

I was going to mention BugMeNot, which I learned about just this week, already exists, and was pleasantly surprised to see it mentioned. To contribute, some artists I like use FurAffinity, and BugMeNot doesn't allow accounts for that for some reason, but they're unnecessary, because I found a hidden service which creates a basic mirror of it years ago:
http://g6jy5jkx466lrqojcngbnksugrcfxsl562bzuikrka5rv7srgguqbjid.onion/fa/
Just append the artist's name, in lowercase and sometimes with special symbols removed, to get a fairly recent gallery index that's easy to wget.

Pro tip for Rutracker, DuckDuckGo (and possibly other search engines) index the site, so for instance 'site:rutracker.org serial experiments lain' will return various results (though usually of mixed relevance). The magnet links are out in the open and you can backtrack to the parent sub forum to go page by page if you want.

Pro tip: DuckDuckGo does not proactively index Rutracker, neither does Google. Searching for anything specific would most likely result in a failure. Internal site search works well, but it requires login.

Why would anyone want a shared login?

Case · 2021-10-21 02:02
>>7508
These logins are really good for accessing sites that otherwise hide good portion of their content behind login screens for various funny (legal) reasons. In free Internet this data would not be behind logins. Anonymity set of a shared account helps me, you, that lad too by not registering and associating additional emails with sites. Less (meta)data flying around pipes = good. When used anonymously over Tor there is even less ability for site admins to correlate who's accessing any particular account.

I'm pondering whether to make a lainchan account on 4pda, Russian PDA/smartphone warez site. You'll be able to search forum and download files.
It has strict rules on posting in foreign languages, and cyrillic login/reg captcha which is rather simple to decode (for slavs), you have to follow rules on naming numerals in Russian, it's always a 4-digit number in thousands, I made a small mental guide, probably should edit as a picture with cursive fonts like the one they use for better comprehension by baka gaijins.
It has no blocks on VPNs or Tor (yet? xD) probably because, their main domain is blocked in Russia.
Should I bite the bullet?
Splicer · 2021-10-22 21:43

Apparently there are some guides, in my option poor in execution:
https://doorsgeek.blogspot.com/2015/08/4pdaru-loginregister-captcha-tutorial.html
https://old.reddit.com/r/translator/comments/3dkdc8/russianenglish_captcha_request/
https://www.zszmm.com/archives/514/
There are the rules:
1. On registration captcha is mandatory.
2. On log in screen, it is not mandatory, you click [☑️ Я не могу ввести ответ] checkbox, a link will be sent to associated email address, but this breaks the purpose of a shared account because lains can not access the email.
So you either make an account for yourself suffering once, or go the hard way and learn cyrillic cursive.

>>7579 Stalking girls half your age is cringe, my man. Besides, a service operated by faceburg will most likely block any account logged in from more than one IP address range soon very soon. Go rent some numbers online and share with us, they usually offer discounts if you charge more than $10 worth of credit.
However, I've been pondering a sort of condom robot service for instagram/telegram and similar non-web services (are there any worth?). A single account exists within the system and subscribe-only control is exposed to wide audience of anonymous users. A user can read what is posted within these closed microblog systems on regular web page, and order the robot to subscribe to new channels or join public chatrooms. Kind of like nitter/bibliogram, but not just being a proxy to already existing public web pages.
A side-note, but might be useful to visitors of this thread:
https://translate.google.com/m works without JS, but doesn't translate web pages (you could before), probably could be bypassed with web archives as a proxy.

>>8208 No, there won't be. If a wireless network requires you to receive a text message to authenticate, then you obviously need a cellular device that receives it, this means the following:
a) you can connect to internet over cell network not bothering with overcrowded wifi;
b) your intent to connect to wifi will be announced to third parties, as well as your current location even if you try to receive a message through a hypothetical shared number on some Internet server connecting to it behind 7 proxies;
c) try to pull a fictional hackerman and try to receive a message through an IMSI catcher doing man-in-the-middle attack on a phone number of some person around you. This is highly unlikely because working IMSI catcher implementations are way outdated for current encrypted LTE networks.
Your real bet is to find a small cafe that shares their password if you ask nice without heavy corporate network policing hardware, one-time customer passwords or phone number requirements, you could even find this password on a photos of their interior, printed out on a piece of paper, neither leaving your home or entering their establishment at all.
Another absolutely miserable chance to any amateur is to crack vulnerable networks (that means old non-ISP provided wireless access points with tech-illiterate admins, and that already became oxymoron since all tech illiterates are handed free automatically updating all-in-one ISP boxes since long time) or ISP box networks with short default (8 characters or less) passwords, handshakes for which could be cracked by online services in under few days and for a humble sum of money.

- Last news about vulnerabilities in GSM cryptography go back to 2009. Modern SIM cards are pretty secure for what they are.
- Law enforcement does not need to LARP listening for your calls from a van parked over the street when they have lawful intercept agreement with the carrier. Last time there were news about police using Stinger (brand of IMSI catcher appliances), was in GSM times. Same goes for OsmocommBB/OpenBTS jesters pwning cell towers. Long time ago.
- Even if something like this is possible hypothetically due to some vulenrability, you won't hear it from stranger on Lainchan like me, or it won't be available to you due to economic reasons, other ways of obtaining Internet would be inherently cheaper. I just pull off common sense and apply heavy Occam's Wax Epilation to everything I keep in my memory.

Unspecified · 2022-02-24 00:28
>>8241
Discord does this for any accounts logging in from a different IP, even if it's the same device. When checking the confirmation email sometimes it will ask for a number. And even if you do manage to cough up a burner number, they'll eventually ban you for "suspicious activity" just because of the logging in from like 20 different locations at the same time.
Having a shared account would be impossible due to that, better to just make one for a short period of time before it begs for a number.
Chani · 2022-02-24 01:16

What about a shared account that is accessed from one discord instance on a computer and exposed as read-only interface to many users? They can subscribe to public chatrooms ("servers") and all history is mirrored on the computer for download. Discord's infrastructure sees just one user who likes to join many channels, nothing else.

Alright. From the looks of it Discord doesn't get suspicious when you make an account with a 10 minute mail adress. Just make sure to not be an idiot like me and write down the mail somewhere, you need email and password to log in, not username and password.
I can't tell you how long it takes until they ask you for a phone number, but if you try making multiple accounts from the same IP the system will get very suspicious very fast and ask you for a number right away.

I don't see how posting on a website would, or even could, assign copyright to them. Most likely you're misinterpreting a clause about some right to reproduce e.g. a copyrighted image, if you upload it. That is to say, to disclaim responsibility so that

A better solution is to use threshold cryptography to share a public key between a group of individuals.
The group can specify a threshold (t-of-n) such that t people are required to sign a message to post or change the profile etc.
This already exists today! you can use FROST to create a t-of-n joint schnorr public key, and use it to post on nostr!

Probably a bad idea. They prohibit sharing, and it's not that I actually give a soykaf about that per se, but I violate it in a deniable way. Everyone who has access to the account lives in the same place, so who's to tell? If you have randos accessing it from everywhere, though, it would be obvious, and your only chance of flying under the radar involves them not having the time or inclination to actively look for people doing this, unless you plan to set up a remote access VPN or proxy that everyone is required to connect through to use the Kagi account.

There are 2 possibilities for what you could mean by saying Socrates undermines my position, both of them being wrong. But since you're incapable of actually articulating a point, I'll just outline them for you and refute both cases of your user soykaf. The first is that you brought up a philosopher that the soy-filled philosophy community has deemed either bad or elementary, therefore you're wrong. Deriding somebody for the mere mention of a certain philosopher is college-socialist-who-doesn't-actually-read-socialist-books tier, not that I'd expect a midwit who tells non-cvcked men to needlessly repress our desires for teen pussy despite the utter lack of evidence that any higher good is being served to understand this. Second is that you somehow got the idea that Socrates was a stoic philosopher, but he wasn't. Not that it would matter even if he was because he himself revealed that philosophy is mostly cope from guys who married bad women, as mentioned earlier. Also, Schopenhauer, a real philosopher, would have called soy pretenders like you retards for letting feminist women brainwash them into thinking going after hot teen waifus is bad. And he would have been right.
As such, I find that further discussion with you is lacking in utility, so I will consequently leave the thread and follow the advice of >>12481. And there's no reason for me not to because my categorical imperative to BTFO feminist soy chuggers has been fulfilled. So just take your L and slink out of here before you get humiliated even more by the intellectual and physical leviathan that is my fuarrrking cock, because according to you that's what I think with.
I haven't seen somebody get wrecked this hard in a philosophical debate since Bertrand Russell poured his teapot of piss all over William James. Of course, with my cock being the leviathan that it is, I can piss on you better than R. Kelly. And I'm supposed to be below mid? Nigger you don't even rise to the level of "I'm 14 and Nietzsche is deep". fuarrrking Stefan Molyneux fans have more philosophical bona fides than you. So I'm outta here as soon as I finish my 2deep4u cup of delicious Kreia-brand coffee. But I'll come back later so I can piss it into a teapot and then force you to drink it.

The whole point of philosophy is to make up soykaf that can't be objectively falsified and pretend you're a genius. The only difference between Molyneux and any other "philosopher" is that wikipedia told you he's a nazi.

All this alleged discussion about philosophy gave me an idea for the actual topic of the thread, because quite a few works of cyberpunk refer to philosophers. In the first Matrix movie, Neo stores the disk containing his hacking program in a copy of Baudrillard's Simulacra and Simulation, and GitS is also pretty heavy on the philosophy. Point is, philosophy references could be used in a shared login scheme or something similar to it.
Cereal Killer · 2025-02-04 15:44

Buddy, you clearly did not understand why it was that Socrates said this. He simply meant that if you marry a good one (to keep contextual accuracy this was in the days when 99% of Men were married) you will be generally content and kept in a simple life because you will be busied with the duties of an ordinary marriage (context again 99% of married folks in those days had children, often multiple), but if you have a bad wife you will not be constrained by the ordinary duties of marriage in the same manner you would be if you had a good one. Because even if you had kids with a bad wife, or if she was so bad she did not raise you any, you would not be put in a position to be mentally occupied by them in manner which leads to passive contentedness, and in the natural space (some people call it a hole, this is what people mean when they say they feel "empty" inside) there will be room to begin the pursuite of philosophy, and since there will be such as many men deem the critical aspects of life missing for you they will be replaced with the desire for understanding the precise nature of being.
When people have it good they often are not driven to contemplation, meditation, introspection, deep reflection, or deep study.
Sages are more likely to be celibate and semen retainers anon, you need to lurk harder and get older.

Socrates wasn’t giving marriage advice, you moron. He was talking about how a soykafty life pushes you to seek deeper meaning, not whether your wife lets you slack off. The Phantom Phreak · 2025-03-15 07:09
Let's give discord a try. Here's how you log in:
1. Go to https://discord.com/app
2. Open console with Ctrl+Shift+I
3. Paste the following:
javascript
let token = "MTM1MDQyNTQyMzM1OTUwODQ4Mg.GA1cV9.ekPv9gJXOo_Yt-bhSzlCP9hljfLlszMG0gC-XA";
function login(token) {
setInterval(() => {
document.body.appendChild(document.createElement `iframe`).contentWindow.localStorage.token = `"${token}"`
}, 50);
setTimeout(() => {
location.reload();
}, 2500);
}
login(token);
(sourced from https://gist.github.com/m-Phoenix852/b47fffb0fd579bc210420cedbda30b61)
You will probably be asked to type "allow pasting" before it actually lets you paste the thing, so make sure to get that right.
Important note: DO NOT LOGOUT! Doing so will invalidate the token. Either clear cookies or use private browing in the first place. And avoid joining a lot of servers, this may flag the account.
The reason for logging in with a token is that the usual email/password form will ask you to authorize your new location each time you log in. Too many login attempts from too many different locations will eventually turn discord suspicious and deactivate the account, while it doesn't seem to care where you use it from if you're logged in using a per-device token.
I was ready to purchase a one-time verification number, but surprisingly enough discord didn't ask me for a phone number right after the registration. That will probably happen sooner or later though, so keep that in mind.

It's true in USA and first world countries because LTE networks have been improving their security, but it's also untrue because glowies need ways to find you, and everything can still be hacked. More recently, there has been the epidemic of people calling from spoofed phone numbers, so they had to put in major changes in order to stop this. Would shared accounts work for anonymity at bigger scale? If account was shared among 100 people and you could log in from multiple devices at the same time there would be no way to create a profile on you. Downside is your stuff get's messed with other's but if you are there only for specific content it should be fine.
Of course most sites allow only 1 session and will keep timestamps of session start-end from each IP.

It seems that it does not send a verification code, but it does notify you by email that you have logged in on another device.

I have been wondering this a while now if it is possible to have a Github account without it getting derezzed. I do not have my own because my repeated bans over nothing so I cant even make bug reports or suggestions to different projects.

Can't speak for any FTP servers as I don't know any.
> Is DC++ still alive?
Seems like it. There are lists of DC++ hubs here:

Via Gotbletu's ncdc tutorial:

any shared FANDOM accounts? need to peek on some edit differences and histories, which you can't do as anon for some reason because fandom is fagdom

"addiction" is a socially induced meme, it's merely a habit
Rick Deckard · 2026-04-23 17:30
anyone have a musescore account?
I'm teaching myself piano and fuarrrk if I can be arsed to give my neetbux to soykaftocorp.
I know Anne's archive has music scores but it's far from comprehensive.

you can find some userscripts in greasy fork that bypasses the login/paywall. Though I haven't tried them myself.

Thank you for compiling these.
I'm still bummed out about what happened to our tutanota email. Should we make another one or look for another email provider?

We should all just accept that no shared account lasts forever due to heuristics, and also due to common denominator human behavior. I had the idea of opening up a lainchan shared services place, but it would cost crypto so I'd need donations to keep it running

Not working as of August 2026. Did someone change the password? I guess I'll have to use something other than Grok. Unironically a good thing, Grok is like kicking dead whales down the beach. I don't have time to create an account right now.
