Anyone else into rc planes/cars/...?
>Pic related is my plane after the latest crash.
I'm working on fixing it and I'll probably fiberglass it to reinforce it to give it better odds next time I hit a tree :|
It's an old parkzone extra 300 I bought second hand. Replacement parts are not easy to find, expensive or completely unavailable so I have to go the diy route.
What are lain's rc builds?

not currently, but it's something i'd like to get into.
for example, controlling a heterogenous swarm of rc vehicles would be a really cool project. you'd have to throw together a unified controller program/protocol, build some adapters for the actual rc controllers, then command the entire swarm from your computer. toss in a brain/computer interface, and you've got the ansible from Ender's Game.

I've been wanting to get back into RC stuff again, but haven't wanted to spend the money on it just yet. I wish I still had my old RC stuff from when I was a lot younger. I used to have this nice RC foam plane I got at a local hobby shop many years ago. Sadly we got rid of it when we moved houses because I hadn't flown it in years. I also used to be into RC cars, and I had a Team Associated SC10. I'd go out every morning when the ground was still dewy and drive that fuarrrker until the battery died. Also this was the era of when your controllers used the same frequency as wifi routers, so I had a couple of occaisons when I'd lose control of my truck and it'd slam into a tree because it got hijacked by my neighbors wifi lol
