I guess this goes here? Apologies if not. >Forex >Stocks >Cryptocurrency Will learning statistics help me be more aware of making decision? I'm seriously new at this and about to begin with $50 at hand, about to dive in cryptocurrency market because it's less hassling and not taxed (not if I'm not being public about it at least). Currently learning frequency and technical analysis since that's what was recommended. What else should everyone diving in should know?

I was heavy into forex for a few years in the late 00s-early 2010s. All I can say is, above all, you better learn to train your emotions. You can have a effective system but if you're mentally weak you will lose your soykaf once there is real money involved.

>>6118 As an outsider, I think not. The market is irrational, and short predicting algorithmic behaviors done by other traders, you cant predict it. There is no known theoretical dynamics. Every few years people invent a new snake oil. Lately, people have been overfitting machine learning models to statisitics then claiming to have a model that works - it never does and they lose money.

>>6119 I tried, Satan won't deal my soul. >>6120 The $50 I stake in is cold money I can afford to lose. I know I'm ready to lose it too. >>6125 True, but that doesn't mean you can't ride with it. I won't play at that level yet, I'm still figuring out how things works. Everything still doesn't make sense and following some indicators seemed like telling me that it isn't supposed to be understood but just to roll with the dice.
