Purple Haze's design is so fuarrrking sick, I want to make mask of it bc I doubt I have the budget to actually do a full body costume. Any tips?

what i would do is buy one those weird small biker helmets and find a yellow visor thats large enough to cut into the shape you want. i dont know about the top part though...

Use either polystyrene foam or papier-mâché, cover in whatever paint suitable (oil paints for paper). Biker helmets are 90% styrofoam by volume, so you're paying premium price for a packaging material freely available at any dumpster bin. Use petroleum-based thinners for gluing smaller pieces together and hot knife for cutting and shaping.
