continuing from the bicycle thread i have got the parts required to prototype the segway the half tube is to help with clamping the bracket instead of wadding with something the issue is that it wants to be configurable, or you will want different shaped brackets because forks are different dimensions the closest i feel like you can hope to get is matching the dimensions of all the bolts and the holes and getting a vice which fits which is to say for only $10 in hardware store partsyou can convert your $5000 mountain racing bike into this abonination

imagine using the front brakes on this thing youre like an epic pickaxe probably the reason you dont want the footholds in front of the axle, though you can obviously lean back into the braking and do some sick skids and technical moves i think you could probably just screw the bracket into the forks it wont add any danger but it would ruin the bicycle anyway i know these but i dont know if you would ever find 2+ of these the right size for your bicycle forks another thought, yes you could obviously use those clamps to attach a motorcycle alternator or electric drill to the forks too and hook it up instead of pedals

new development in the hardware store you can bend a metal tube into a new 3 dimensional shape flatten the tubes and hammer a big nail through it this way youre down to 2 parts + a hammer a nail and some balls or rocks to fill the tube
