Hey. I want learn from 0 how create ASIC. How do it with FPGA i know there a lot of books but what about ASIC?(USER WAS WARNED FOR THIS POST, You should always elaborate on your opinions rather than just spilling the soykaf.)

Which sort of problem do you want to solve? Of course it depends heavily on that. You should have a good grasp of the algorithm you want to turn into hardware and its bottlenecks on classical hardware beforehand. Then I think some generic book on VHDL will be fine to get started.

Start SIMPLE and get a good Verilog Book

ASIC is not just a design that runs on a FPGA. Application Specific Integrated Circuit. If you wabt to DIY an ASIC you would need to DIY a fab. Unless by DIY you mean to "just" design it in HDL and send it to a fab to fab for you for a lot of money with a minimum order amount.
Of course, you can just use a FPGA, but they are less efficient and can't clock as high as a dedicated ASIC. Also more expensive in volume.

Not necessarily true, for a certain quantity FPGA is cheaper than fabbing a custom chip. Colorlight 5A-75B (or i5) is a prominent example

I remember when I wanted to get electrocuted like betamax simp but then I had sex. Also FYI this is a bad idea unless you want to stop your heart.

Are there other examples you have for more general purpose use, or can this be used for general purpose use?
